Chapel Hill Urgent Care is an expert facility for Occupational Medical Services. We are an established testing facility for Laboratory Corporations of America to perform Chain of Custody Drug and Alcohol Analysis using blood, urine, and saliva. We are also a member of the Substance Abuse Collection Professional Network of North Carolina. Our facility is OSHA and HIPAA compliant and follows these specific guidelines as we maintain patient privacy at all times.
CHUC is also available to accommodate large numbers of students for athletic physical examinations. If your school, sports team, or work site needs physicals please contact CHUC for assistance and we will accommodate your needs. We have the ability to come to your location and conduct physicals for multiple personnel or athletes as indicated or requested.
We are also available to perform required occupational physical examinations (i.e. DOT Exams). Individual companies may contact us directly and arrange for multiple pre-employment physical examinations. We provide insurance physical examinations for Portamedic, the provider of nationwide examination services to the life and health insurance industry.

Chapel Hill Urgent Care is the contracted workman’s compensation provider for the Town of Chapel Hill, as well as Miller and Long Construction, Chapel Hill Tire, BAT Masonry, Cadence Structures, Cole Park Veterinary Hospital, Dick’s Sporting Goods, The Forest at Duke, Harris Teeter, O’Mara Landscaping, and several more. We specialize in Urgent Medical and Trauma Care for acute injuries and illnesses. Establishing a partnership with our clinic will help us promptly facilitate patient care while providing a specific treatment program developed to meet the employer and employee needs. This plan is designed to incorporate all parties involved including the injured worker, the supervisor, the occupational medical team, and the insurance company. We incorporate specialty care with Orthopedics, Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy.
