Dr. Michael Moore has served in the United States Army for 12 years of active duty service. As the Medical Director of Chapel Hill Urgent Care he has brought his international world wide deployment experiences to the Triangle from Fort Bragg. Dr. Moore last served with the 18th Aviation Brigade, as an XVIII Airborne Corps Brigade Flight Surgeon. Dr. Moore was stationed at Fort Bragg, NC, for eight years and grew to love North Carolina during those years of service. He has had international medical experience in over 30 countries, on the ground and overseeing hundreds of military personnel in those countries. Most often individuals traveling to countries endemic to malaria will need anti-malarial medication and preparation. Some foreign destinations call for highly recommended vaccinations. It is important to know where health care facilities are located just in case health care is needed while abroad. CHUC provides medical consultation visits for travels nationally and internationally. Based on your destination, CHUC can design a medical prevention plan for your travel to help keep you healthy as you span the Globe.
